CITY CLUB TRIATHLON
June 2011

The Tri-Cajuns Club, formed in late 2006 by a small group of local triathletes, has grown to over eighty members today. The club’s mission is to provide an avenue for athletes of all ages, experience, abilities and goals to train, compete, and socialize with others in the area having the same interests. Our members are extremely active, competitive and visible in triathlons across Louisiana and other southern states. The club is sanctioned by a national governing body, USA Triathlon (USAT). In the four full years of existence, the club has finished no lower than second in our category in the club competition for the South Midwest region of USAT, a region that encompasses the states of Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas. The club has won its category in two of those years.

It's official.

Even though we moved up in class to Category 3, one of the smaller clubs competing against clubs having 80-149 members, Tri-Cajuns Club captured the 2010 Club Competition Championship in the four-state USAT South Midwest Region.

Congratulations to all members for their hard work.
