T-Gator Duathlon (3/6/11)

This past Sunday had a few of us Tri-Cajuns shaking off the rust with our first multisport race of the year over in Lake Charles at the T-Gator Duathlon. This is the first of a four-race series put on by the Lake Charles Triathletes, their local tri club. As usual this was a well-run race on a nice course, bare bones with no awards, although they did give T-shirts and had food afterwards. Temperatures started in the 40s, which made us glad we didn't have to swim, and there was a decent breeze blowing in to keep the bike times in check.

Pretty good showing by the few Tri-Cajuns who ventured out, everyone palced in their age group and we earned 35 points for the club competition. Tri Cajuns finishing were:
.
  • Brittany Taylor, 2nd in F20-24
  • Angel Hebert, 3rd F45-49
  • Dylan Hebert, 1st M15-19
  • James Breaux, 3rd M25-29
  • John Hebert, 1st M55-59
  • Keith Hebert, 3rd M55-59
